Claesz Abstrato
Capturando os tons frios, texturas e elementos presentes na obra-prima “Natureza Morta (1645)” de Pieter Claesz, quis interpretar de maneira abstrata e sem grande detalhe no esmalte, a composição geral da silhueta através do modelado. Aquilo que apenas podemos ver ao semicerrar os olhos, simplificando cada detalhe e transformando-o em algo mais livre e ingênuo, seguindo silhuetas e cores que expressem certa modernidade escultórica, inspirada na frieza antiga e transmitindo contraste em luz e calor.
Claesz caracteriza-se pelo seu virtuosismo na representação da realidade, mas nesta peça cerâmica, busca-se uma interpretação lírica e minimalista que captura a essência sublime da natureza morta.
A silhueta de uma taça de vinho, um prato e uma jarra insinuam-se com uma delicadeza que sugere a fragilidade e a beleza da vida cotidiana. A textura e a cor da cerâmica conjugam-se para criar um efeito de profundidade e complexidade que convida à contemplação.

Abstract Claesz
Capturing the cold tones, textures, and elements present in the masterpiece “Natureza Morta (1645)” by Pieter Claesz, I sought to interpret in an abstract and minimalist way, without great detail in the glaze, the overall composition of the silhouette through modeling. What we can only see by squinting our eyes, simplifying each detail and transforming it into something more free and innocent, following silhouettes and colors that express a certain sculptural modernity, inspired by ancient coolness and conveying contrast in light and warmth.
Claesz is characterized by his virtuosity in representing reality, but in this ceramic piece, a lyrical and minimalist interpretation is sought that captures the sublime essence of still life.
The silhouette of a wine glass, a plate, and a pitcher are suggested with a delicacy that suggests the fragility and beauty of everyday life. The texture and color of the ceramic come together to create an effect of depth and complexity that invites contemplation.

Sou venezuelana, cresci perto do mar, aprendi a sentir um amor infinito pela natureza e pela simplicidade da vida. Emigrei sozinha para Buenos Aires, Argentina com 21 anos, onde me tornei independente, cresci e encontrei finalmente (2023) uma paixão criativa que me inspira e me conecta comigo mesma, tornando-se num tipo de meditação. Ao chegar a Portugal, continuei como autodidata, e depois conheci o Ó! Cerâmica com intenção de continuar a aprender e conhecer mais pessoas que amam este mundo artístico.

I’m Venezuelan, I grew up near the sea, and I learned to feel an infinite love for nature and the simplicity of life. I emigrated alone to Buenos Aires, Argentina at 21 years old, where I became independent, grew, and finally found (2023) a creative passion that inspires me and connects me with myself, becoming a type of meditation. When I arrived in Portugal, I continued as an autodidact, and then I met Ó! Cerâmica with the intention of continuing to learn and meet more people who love this artistic world.
