- Mundanidade – Prosperidade, superficialidade, luxo, flores e alimentos como objetos de desejo. Consumo de bens culturais e procura do prestígio social.
- Poder – Tempo de exaltação e empoderamento de si mesmo. A relação entre a impermanência da existência e a futilidade, o prazer e poder mundanos.
- Virtuosismo e técnica – O desenho, a cor, a textura, as personagens, os adereços, a vivacidade, o cheio e o vazio. A cadência da narrativa que remete para a ideia de excesso e ausência de limite.
À mesa, há mesa farta. Os comensais prosperam.
PROJETO
A ideia central é trazer para o presente um momento vivo que se espelha nos lugares, nos objetos, na diversidade que a mesa oferece, na paleta cromática, no rasto, nos despojos, na presença e na ausência.
O que se pretende, não é oferecer um contraditório à passagem do tempo e à brevidade da vida. O que se pretende é que a obra se mantenha viva, no sentido, em que promove e integra a relação com outras obras em diferentes contextos.
A PROPOSTA
Diferentes linguagens a atuar em simultâneo:
- De um lado – aqui e agora – um objeto do quotidiano. Uma taça imaculadamente branca, vazia, perene, sólida, limpa, quieta, sem qualquer vestígio de lembrança da sua servitude e do seu lugar. Uma superfície irregular em que a mão humana deixou a sua marca e o seu propósito.
- Do outro lado – o efêmero – uma luz, uma projeção, um foco, uma imagem que remete para um outro tempo, muito atrás. Uma narrativa. Um canal de comunicação. Uma expressão de poder. Uma natureza morta.
A ideia central é acolher o objeto e a sua luz como uma só peça, garantindo, e ao mesmo tempo ludibriando, a possibilidade de, afastadas, poderem perder o seu sentido.
O que queremos dizer sobre a peça?
Queremos dizer que as dicotomias mordem. Que os princípios são fins. Que o poder e a abundância podem fragmentar o que é belo, e já o era. Que o vazio está em toda à parte e nem sempre se vê. Que a luz é um alimento.
Queremos dizer que o branco brilhante é uma porta aberta e que, por isso mesmo, todos gostaríamos de passar por ela, quando tivesse que ser. Está na sua Natureza. Morta ou viva.

- Power — A time of self-exaltation and self-empowerment. The relationship between the impermanence of existence and the futility, pleasure, and worldly power.
- Virtuosity and technique — The drawing, the color, the texture, the characters, the props, the vividness, the fullness and the void. The cadence of the narrative alludes to the idea of excess and boundlessness.
At the table, there is a bountiful feast. The diners thrive.
PROJECT
The central idea is to bring into the present a living moment that reflects itself in places, in objects, in the diversity that the table offers, in the chromatic palette, in the traces, in the remnants, in presence and absence.
The intention is not to contradict the passage of time or the brevity of life. The aim is for the work to remain alive, in the sense that it fosters and integrates a relationship with other works in different contexts.
THE PROPOSAL
Different languages acting simultaneously:
- On one side — here and now — an everyday object. An immaculately white bowl, empty, enduring, solid, clean, still, without any trace of the memory of its servitude and its place. An irregular surface where the human hand has left its mark and its purpose.
- On the other side — the ephemeral — a light, a projection, a spotlight, an image that evokes another time, long past. A narrative. A channel of communication. An expression of power. A still life.
The central idea is to embrace the object and its light as a single piece, ensuring — and at the same time deceiving — the possibility that, when separated, they may lose their meaning.
What do we want to say about the piece?
We want to say that dichotomies bite. That beginnings are ends. That power and abundance can fragment what is beautiful — and already was. That emptiness is everywhere and not always seen. That light is nourishment.
We want to say that the brilliant white is an open door, and for that very reason, we would all like to walk through it, when the time comes. It is in its Nature. Dead or alive

O acesso à cultura e arte foi primordial desde a minha infância. A formação base e superior na área da Educação e Arte alicerçou o desenvolvimento de iniciativas que vão desde a formação de crianças e adultos ao envolvimento em projetos de natureza artística. A passagem pelo Ar.Co consolidou este percurso.
Atualmente, trabalho exclusivamente no Atelier Terravista – que criei – tendo como matriz a relação e equilíbrio entre o belo e o utilitário. O princípio base é que todas as peças possam” ir à mesa”, mostrar-se, ter um lugar e função e proporcionar prazer e questionamento. É o objetivo.

Art and culture have been essential companions since childhood. My academic journey in Education and Art laid the groundwork for a practice that spans from teaching to participating in creative, community-based projects. This path was deepened and affirmed through my time at Ar.Co.
Today, I dedicate myself fully to Atelier Terravista—a space I created—where I explore the delicate balance between beauty and utility. Each piece is conceived to be both functional and expressive: it can sit at the table, be seen, be used, provoke thought, and bring joy. That is the essence of my work.
