Entre o silêncio da abundância e o ruído da decomposição fica uma crítica.
Enquanto o mestre holandês arranjava cálices e frutas em um banquete burguês, minha obra revela o que a pintura apenas insinua: a presença da decomposição. As moscas, feitas de cerâmica e queimadas em raku, ocupam o papel principal.
A paleta barroca, que anteriormente indicava opulência, agora é utilizada para expor o que sobra após o consumo: um emblema da decadência estética e moral da classe dominante. Serve como um comentário sobre a continuidade das estruturas sociais fundamentadas na aparência e no acúmulo.
Aqui, o luxo foi consumido. Ao invés de capturar a aparência, revela-se a matéria. Restam o ruído, o rastro e o resíduo nobre.

Remains
Between the silence of abundance and the noise of decomposition is a criticism.
While the Dutch master arranged chalices and fruits in a bourgeois banquet, my work reveals what the painting only insinuates: the presence of decomposition. The flies, made of ceramics and burned in raku, occupy the main role.
The baroque palette, which previously indicated opulence, is now used to expose what is left after consumption: an emblem of the aesthetic and moral decadence of the ruling class. It serves as a comment on the continuity of social structures based on appearance and accumulation.
Here, luxury was consumed. Instead of capturing the appearance, the matter is revealed. The noise, the trail and the noble residue remain.
